Vantage Point

So I got to spend some time playing with the Vantage Point tool in Photoshop CS3 today.  It’s pretty stinkin’ sweet when you get it figured out.  I was able to warp our map graphic for the new sermon series this fall, University For Life, that launches a new approach to explaining our vision map.  I had to make the flat, printable version of the map that we’ll use in publicity materials and then actually make it look like a cool map for the website.  I think I got it right.  Let me know what you think!

Addicted to WordPress = New Church Blog

I continue to grow fonder and fonder of WordPress.  Were our church website less complicated, I’d consider finding a way to using WordPress as our CMS since we don’t have one.  Since that’s not an option, I quickly decided, after several unexpected problems surfaced this morning, to power our news feed on the church website with WordPress.  It’s already turned out to be fantastically useful.  I’ll keep playing with it and learning more about the powers of WP.
